You are encouraged to pray the Divine Mercy Novena for 9 days starting Good Friday April 18th to Divine Mercy Sunday April 27th.
The Chaplet of Divine Mercy Novena is a relatively new but powerful devotion. It was a favourite of Pope St. John Paul II.
Jesus, appearing to St. Faustina, said, “I promise that the soul that will venerate this image will not perish. I also promise victory over its enemies already here on earth, especially at the hour of death. I Myself will defend it as My own glory.”
Jesus specifically asked that the Chaplet be recited as a Novena. He promised, “By this Novena of Chaplets, I will grant every possible grace to souls.”
